On the afternoon of May 26, the second council meeting of the Shanghai Blockchain Technology Association was held at Shanghai Jing’an District International Center. At this council meeting, JT&N was selected as the vice president unit of the Shanghai Blockchain Technology Association, and JT&N senior partner Yunyan ZHANG was elected as the vice president and think tank expert of the Association.
Attending this council (enlarged) meeting were Yi WANG, president of Shanghai Blockchain Technology Association, representatives of councilor units, supervisors, and representatives of dozens of member units such as Shanghai Golden Bridge InfoTech Co., Ltd. , Shanghai Wanxiang Block Chain Co., Ltd. , Haier Digital Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Beijing Baidu Netcom Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and Ant Blockchain Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., totaling more than 50 participants.
At the meeting, representatives of vice presidents and council members spoke freely on the discussion topics. On the future development trend of Web3 in Hong Kong, attorney Yunyan ZHANG, senior partner of JT&N, said, “With the boom of web3, blockchain technology becomes more mature today. More and more application scenarios are gradually being implemented, and the Internet scene has brought new changes. We should give full play to the policy advantages of one country, two systems in Hong Kong, and promote early and pilot implementation in Hong Kong, so that the advantages of the financial center and science and innovation in China can be maximized.
In recent years, based on the industry’s high concern about the compliance and healthy development of the NFT secondary market, JT&N targeted the metaverse and blockchain overseas and China market changes and established the Metaverse Research Center last year, which is composed of a number of lawyers who have long been engaged in Internet and new economy legal services and global compliance legal services. After the establishment of the research center, it has written several articles analyzing the current market rules and practical status, analyzing the overview of metaverse and blockchain at home and abroad and related legal risks, and writing and releasing the Blue Book of Metaverse Industry Opportunities, summarizing the legal issues and directions under the current metaverse operation mechanism, and providing valuable opinions for the healthy and sustainable development of metaverse in the future.
In the future, JT&N Metaverse Research Center will follow the latest development trend in the metaverse and NFT field, integrate the professional service force of intellectual property, cross-border compliance, Internet outbound, personal information compliance, game law, entertainment law, and e-commerce law, and jointly provide legal services tailored to the frontier of the industry for entrepreneurs and institutional investors in the metaverse field.
