According to the website of JT&N on June 13, 2011, Yuan Wei, senior partner of JT&N, was appointed criminal defense counsel for Wang Jiping, former director general of Beijing Administration for Industry and Commerce (BAIC) and the former director of Beijing Local Taxation Bureau, in the case of alleged corruption and bribery. A public prosecution has been instituted by the First Branch of the Beijing People’s Procuratorate at the Beijing First Intermediate People’s Court. The court session was held on November 28, 2011.
