On the evening of May 18, ALB announced the final winners of the 20th ALB China Law Awards at the 2023 ALB China Law Awards ceremony held in Beijing. JT&N received the International Trade Law Firm of the Year Award, owing to its high-quality legal services, remarkable reputation among clients and exceptional performance. JT&N has won this award repeatedly since 2020.
The ALB China Law Awards aim to pay tribute to the leading law firms and in-house teams in China, as well as the top deals of the previous year, thus encouraging more legal teams and practitioners to make outstanding contributions in their fields. The ALB China Law Awards 2023 attracted more than 200 law firms and corporate legal teams with more than 1,700 nominations, setting a new record for nominations. JT&N stood out as one of the winners of the fierce competition.
Founded in 1998, our international trade team has become a leading team of lawyers in the practice area of international trade. JT&N is one of the teams of Chinese lawyers with most cases representing Chinese companies in response to foreign trade dispute investigations, and one of the core teams of Chinese lawyers providing international trade legal services to the Chinese government.
JT&N has been selected for two consecutive times in 2018 and 2021 to all sub-libraries under the Chinese Ministry of Commerce’s law firm library, including international trade remedies, WTO and regional trade agreement dispute resolution, international investment, trade barrier investigation and response, and Section 337 investigations. JT&N has represented the Chinese government in nearly 100 international bilateral or multilateral negotiations and international dispute resolution cases, making it one of the few teams of Chinese lawyers with experience representing governments in international trade negotiations and international investment arbitrations.
