This year, the Jincheng Tongda & Neal (JT&N) Insurance Practice was again honored by selection as the China “Insurance Firm of the Year,” edging out a number of other finalists in this highly competitive category.
In addition, JT&N’s highly-ranked International Trade and Tax Practices also were recognized as finalists in their respective categories.
This is the third consecutive year that JT&N has been honored as CL&P’s “Insurance Law Firm of the Year.” Led by Ms. Elsie SHI and Mr. George YU, and supported by Elizabeth LAN, John BOLIN and other members, the Insurance Practice stands among the most highly regarded insurance practices in China, routinely advising on the full spectrum of insurance industry-related matters, including: strategic advice; transactional M&A, formation of joint ventures, and reorganizations; establishment of “greenfield” insurance operations and licensing; internet insurance operations; regulatory compliance and complex dispute resolution.
According to CL&P’s announcement, the 2018 winners were determined on the basis of surveys that focused on the influence of law firms and attorney teams inside the legal industry and customer evaluations, as well as contributions to China’s legal industry. All research and judging was conducted by the editorial teams of ALM’s China Law & Practice, The Asian Lawyer, The American Lawyer, and Legal Week.
