Senior Partner Linyan Ma Receives China Science and Technology Law Outstanding Achievement Award

On November 17, 2018, 2018 Jincheng Tongda & Neal (JT&N) Senior Partner Linyan Ma was honored with the prestigious “China Science and Technology Law Outstanding Achievement Award,” presented in a ceremony during the annual meeting of the China Law Association on Science and Technology and the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Summit Forum commemorating the 40th anniversary of China’s Reform and Opening-up.

Ms. Ma is a highly regarded and experienced JT&N Senior Partner who has handled numerous legal matters involving the field of science and technology law. In the course of her extensive career, Ms. Ma has encountered and resolved a wide range of legal issues related to scientific and technological innovation, in particular including those relating to technology transfer, and has conducted in-depth research into the legal implications of cutting-edge topics such as e-commerce, artificial intelligence, block chain, Internet finance, network security, and data and information protection. In 2017 and 2018, she, together with the delegations of the PRC Ministry of Commerce and the China Law Association on Science and Technology, participated in visits to foreign jurisdiction such as Germany, England, Ireland, Switzerland and Austria for exchanges and cooperation in the fields of cross-border e-commerce, logistics, block chain and technology transfer, meeting with representatives of organizations such as the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The China Science and Technology Law Awards are reviewed by the National Office for Science and Technology Awards and approved by the PRC Ministry of Science and Technology.
