On May 30, 2019, JT&N Senior Partner Ms. Guohua (Annie) WU was honored by recognition as “In-House Community Commended External Counsel of the Year, 2019” by In-House Community, one of the most influential and prestigious legal media platforms in Asia. This annual award is intended to recognize those market leading attorneys who best exemplify the attributes of dedication, innovation, efficiency and value-addition, encouragement and improvement, and corporate social responsibility. A senior in-house counsel of the In-House Community especially praised Ms. Wu, noting that: “Ms. Wu always responds in a timely manner and meets my business needs.”

Ms. Wu is widely recognized both as an authority on cross-border M&A and private equity, and for the extraordinary breadth of experience and commercial acumen which define her practice. Ms. Wu’s clients include some of the largest private equity funds and multinational companies in China and the world. 

An award-winning attorney, Ms. Wu was selected into “One Thousand Foreign-Related Lawyer Talent Pool” by the Ministry of Justice in 2018, and awarded “Top 10 Lawyer” in the first “Belt and Road” Award by the Legal Daily. The “In-House Community Counsel of the Year Awards” are presented annually to acknowledge the vital contribution made by both in-house and external counsel during the period of the prior year. The winners are selected by a panel of independent judges based on submissions from in-house counsel across Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
